Description:
Rangers are among Aranthia's most cunning and powerful ranged combatants. Their mastery of bow and arrow, their knowledge of nature and the search for clues make them dangerous opponents on the battlefield. They won't budge until they've brought their prey down with well-placed shots and traps. In addition, they are able to treat their wounds with self-made potions and ointments. In addition, rangers are often supported by an animal companion, which they usually tame themselves on their hunts and develop a strong emotional bond with them. This allows the ranger to command his animal companion and unleash devastating attacks. The firstborn elves of Kel-Thalor are believed to be the first beings of Aranthia to have so perfected the art of hunting. Their knowledge and lore of nature quickly spread to all corners of the world, so it is not uncommon today to find rangers among the ranks of all humanoid races of Aranthia. Rangers can specialize into deadly marksmen, cunning stalkers, or relentless beast masters.

Marksmen rely primarily on their eagle eyes and the practiced use of bow and arrow. Thus, they are able to mortally wound their opponents with precise shots or unnerve them with poisoned arrows. They are masters at dealing massive single target damage as quickly as possible.

Stalker
Stalkers are cunning rangers who have perfected their use of traps and other tools. For example, they can stun and confuse opponents with their traps. Stalkers also count as the type of rangers most adept at hand-to-hand dual-wield combat and are able to regenerate themselves through their knowledge of nature.

Beastmaster
Beastmasters form a very strong and intimate bond with their animal companion, empowering them and allowing them to perform powerful attacks and tricks designed solely to strike down their opponent with brutal precision. In addition, they not only control an animal companion, but also communicate with smaller wild animals such as eagles or snakes to further strengthen their abilities.

Arrow Storm [Ultimate]

Shadow Shot [Active Ability]
